Description
Hemiancistrus subviridis (L200) is a mid-sized pleco from fast-flowing streams in Colombia and Venezuela. These beautiful catfish are a rich green colour with fine spotting and yellow highlights. Caution should be taken when adding these fish to a planted aquarium as they may eat broad-leafed plants such as Echinodorus spp.
These are juveniles around 3" long.
